Siegburg bahnhof train station stereo recording. It´s a stereo track of the deutsche bahn ice train passing trough siegburg station. Has a little bit of human cellphone talking and soft traffic background. Hope works for you.

Recording from my balcony in venice, italy in the morning. You can hear local residents preparing their breakfasts. Some italian speech. Seagulls. Nearby boats from the marina. Cicadas. Doors and windows opening. A carpenter works from a distance.

This is a field-recording of besançon, saint claude's district, in france. You can hear the church ringing the sunday morning's bell. Taken out of my window with a shure ksm27 on a sound boom + art tube mp project series usb. This is my first contribution in the freesound project, to thanks everyone here for sharing amazing sounds. I played this ironfence to a church next to my house at latenight, the wind in the background gives a nice deep dimension to it, wind works almost like a sidechain tuch. Recorded with r-09, processed in logic 8 add. Reverb. East jutland, holme, århus, denmark.

Made some chicken alfredo and as i was slapping the noodles with the wooden spoon it sounded great! works for some gross effects or if someone gets slapped you can supplement your slapping noise with some moisture for some comedic value ;). I believe sound clips should be openly shared, but i am always interested in seeing how people use them ;).

3d diy binaural dummy head recording. Intended for headphone listening. Assorted birds singing away in my garden at sunset. Best 'bee/blackbird/crow action' around -02:40 -> -01:30. Best on headphones, but works quite well on stereo speakers. Roland quad capture to pc.

Recording of clothes in the dry cleaner for a bit longer than one hour. I recorded this in order to use for my newborn to be able to fall asleep as white noise sound. Works pretty fine because of the repetition;at the end of the recording, the machine stops and restarts a few times for a few short cycles. Recorded with zoom h4n in mp3 format. Reduced background noise in audition. Exported to ogg because of large file size.

Quiet urban residential area in tokyo at about 2 am in the late summer (october, i think). You can hear far off traffic, some night insects and a drunk guy who came to close to my hidden mics to take a whiz. Excluding the peeing guy, quiet parts are perfect for looping (for ambient background sounds in video or audio works). The peeing guy might actually be useful, so i didn't cut it out. Faithfully recorded with a stereo mic pair placed at a 90 degree angle. The left-right balance was adjusted and the stereo field was expanded later to fix the lopsided sided flatness of the original recording. Other than that, the recording is unprocessed.

Fith attempt of uploading this 20 min beach sequence. Tried to upload this in wav (approx 650mb, 24/96) but somehow. . . Recorded with tascam dr-05 plus diy deadcat (and the kitten works as you can hear. . . ). So here we go as an mp3 (neil young would say we´ve only get five percent). I recording made near some woods of the wind ebbing and flowing on an unusually mild day in late november of 2013. What i find unique about this recording is a lone cricket calling out at various times of this recording. . . Makes for a nice, almost melancholy feeling. It is almost like the cricket is not quite ready to hide away for the winter and is taking advantage of a rare 70-degree november day to call out as if to say "hey, i'm still here, waiting. . . In the grass. ". With headphones on, works wonders in clearing your head. . . Recording made at 6:30 at night with my handy / zoom h4 n recorder using the internal microphones, and of course using a very very stout wind screen. Enjoy.
